Leadership and Team Building Workshops for Schools

Leadership is not something people learn by listening alone. It develops through experience, through reflection, and through the shared work of a community moving toward something meaningful.

My approach to leadership development is deeply influenced by my background in experiential education. During my first decade as a teacher, I led wilderness courses for middle and high school students and worked as a ropes course facilitator with a wide range of groups, including schools, corporate teams, and programs serving at-risk youth. In those settings, I saw how challenge, collaboration, and reflection could help individuals discover strengths they did not yet know they possessed and help groups develop trust in one another.

That ethos has stayed with me. It continues to shape who I am as an educator, a leader, and a consultant.

Through Garrenteed Learning, I offer leadership and team building workshops that are active, hands-on, and engaging. Participants are not simply asked to think about leadership. They experience it. They work together to solve problems, navigate uncertainty, and support one another. These experiences are energizing and often fun, while also grounded in serious purpose. Participants leave with both insight and a stronger sense of connection to their team.

For School Leadership Teams and Faculty

These workshops help educators strengthen the relationships and leadership practices that shape a school’s culture. Through shared experience and guided reflection, participants explore communication, trust, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

This work helps leadership teams and faculty build alignment and create the conditions where both adults and students can do their best work.

For Students

Leadership development is equally important for students. These workshops help students develop confidence, strengthen their ability to work with others, and see themselves as contributors to their communities.

Students experience leadership as something they can practice, not simply something they observe.

Flexible Workshop Formats

Leadership and team building workshops can be designed to meet the needs and schedule of your school, including:

  • 60–90 minute sessions
  • Half-day workshops
  • Full-day workshops
  • Multi-day leadership development experiences

Each workshop is developed in partnership with your school to ensure it reflects your goals and supports your community.

An Invitation

Schools are always becoming something.

Leadership development helps ensure they become places where people feel connected, capable, and empowered to contribute.

If you are interested in leadership and team building workshops for your staff or students, I would welcome the opportunity to work with your school.
