Building Schools of Belonging Part 1 & 2 (2023-2024)

This multi-part workshop series, delivered at conferences across Central and South America as well as to the full faculty at Lincoln School, supported educators in developing a shared language and deeper understanding of what it means to build cultures of belonging in schools. Participants explored key concepts related to identity, inclusion, and community, examining how individual characteristics and lived experiences shape how people navigate and experience their environments. Through reflection and dialogue, the series emphasized the critical distinction between intent and impact, encouraging educators to consider how their actions influence others. Teachers left with practical strategies and a stronger conceptual foundation to foster inclusive, responsive, and belonging-centered school communities.
