Project CRISS (2010-2012) 

Presented to hundreds of elementary, middle, and high school teachers across Broward County, Florida and Wake County, North Carolina. This multi-day workshop focused on instructional strategies designed to inspire metacognition and mastery through student engagement and inquiry-based learning.

Scott Garren is an educational consultant and the incoming High School Principal at Beijing City International School (August, 2026). A professional educator for over 25 years, Scott spent eleven years at Lincoln School Costa Rica with his wife (an elementary school teacher) and two children (proud Lincoln alumni and now college graduates) where he served as Middle School Principal, High School Principal, Academic Director (Preschool-Grade 12), and even Interim HR Director. Before Lincoln, Scott served in various instructional and administrative roles in both independent and public schools before serving as a district-level and State-wide administrator in North Carolina.
